Frankie Lamar McLeod

Frankie Lamar McLeod – a 75 year-old resident of Wilmer passed away at his home on Monday, November 17, 2014. He was a longtime member and Deacon at Wilmer Baptist Church where he was involved in a number of ministries.

Mr. McLeod was preceded in death by his son, Frankie Lamar McLeod, Jr., and brother, Victor Leroy McLeod. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Bettie S. McLeod; son, Ken McLeod (Susan); sister, Louise McAdams (Pat); grandchildren, Kimberly Pope (Brad), Brandon McLeod (Jennifer), Chris McLeod, Kayla McLeod, Kendall McLeod, Connor McLeod, and Mackenzie McLeod; eight great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from Wilmer Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 9 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Wilmer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mission of Hope, P.O. Box 8504 Mobile, AL 36689.
