Frazier D. Sheffield

Mr. Frazier D. Sheffield – a native of Grove Hill, AL and a resident of Saraland, AL for 54 years, died Saturday, August 20, 2011 in a local hospital. Mr. Sheffield retired from Courtaulds after 34 ½ years of service and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Grey Sheffield. He is survived by two children, Allan (Debbie) Sheffield and Kathy Sheffield Sweeney; a beloved niece, Dana Handley, who was loved as a daughter; his brothers and sisters, Marie (James) Ott, Willie E. (Pauline) Sheffield, Mary M. Jordan, Billy F. (Eloise) Sheffield, W. D. (Louise) Sheffield, Milton E. (Stella) Sheffield, Eula B. (David) Neal, Wayne (Shirley) Sheffield, and Marvin A. (Sherry) Sheffield; two grandchildren, Amber (David) Wilson and Jon (Tiffany) Miller; one great-grandchild, Zane Wilson; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until 3 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
