Gennions "Jr." Busby - passed away peacefully in his home on August 13, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Busby and Bertie Mosley; wife, Ruby Busby; daughters, Peggy Wilson and Joyce McDonald; and grandsons, Hunter Stringfellow and Jon "Bo" Criswell. "Jr." is survived by his siblings, Barbara Rhodes, Michael "Mickey" Jackson (Dena), and Sarah Fowler; children, Linda Clanton (Anthony), Brenda Busby , and Terry Busby (Traci); daughter-in-law, Connie Busby; grandchildren, Lisa Lane (Travis),Shay Graham (Spencer), Mercedes Cook(Josh), Timothy Robinson, Fallon Mohren (Jerry), Colton Busby, Whitney Bailey (Chris), and Hailey McDonald; 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from Creola First Baptist Church on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
