Gregory Eugene Bridges

Gregory (Greg) Eugene Bridges, a native of Houma, Louisiana and long time resident of the Saraland area, left this life on Saturday morning, September 29, 2018 at 10:12 AM. He was 49. Greg was a graduate of Satsuma High School and the University of South Alabama. He was an amazing husband, father, son, Papa, uncle, coworker and friend. Greg loved life, his granddaughter, fishing, boating, hunting and the LSU Tigers. Greg joined his beloved father Walter Samuel Bridges in Heaven. He is survived by his wife Stephanie Bridges, son Tyler Bridges (Regina), and stepdaughter Mollie Miller. Greg was blessed to have a granddaughter, Anna Catherine Bridges, who was his pride and joy. He is also survived by his mother, Doris Bridges, three brothers Sammy (Beverly), James (Nancy), Russell (Doris) and six nieces and nephews: Chad, Aaron, Samantha, Rachel, Jamie, and Rusty. He leaves behind many other relatives, aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews, coworkers and countless friends. A celebration of life service will be held Friday, October 5th at Steel Creek Lodge (368 Juniper Avenue) in Satsuma, Alabama with visitation at 1:00 PM and service at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Greg’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
