

On May 12, 2013, Hattie Pugh Stauter departed this life to be with the Lord. She was born on March 28, 1921 in Waynesboro, MS and was one of eleven children of Allen P. Pugh and Betty Lee Pugh, her parents. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent J. Stauter. She worked as a beautician for over 50 years in the Eight-Mile area after moving from Waynesboro, MS. She also played the organ for Eight-Mile Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, Mr. Eddie Ragland and one daughter, Mrs. Yvette Graves (Charles); six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A special thank you to Mrs. Martha Mosley and Mr. Kenny Mosley for being her caregivers in her later years. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until 1 P.M. on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, followed by funeral services in the chapel at 1 P.M. Pallbearers will be Jesse Phillips, Carl Goodloe, Randy Fogle, Billy Odom, Bobby Odom, and John Wood. Honorary pallbearer will be Rod Pugh. She will be laid to rest in Pine Crest Cemetery, on Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL.
