She was a longtime resident of Saraland, AL and member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother to Linda Bishop (Bud) and Renee Buchanan (Larry) and a cherished grandmother to Sean, Michelle, Heather, Haley, Hannah, and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Minnie Vogtner and brother, Donald Byrd. She was known for her love of gardening and her beautiful flowers as well cooking many special meals for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held Monday, February 3rd, 2025 from 12:30- 2:00pm at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, AL, followed by graveside service at Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile.
