Mrs. Carnathan was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Carnathan. She is survived by her four children, Phyllis Carnathan, Karen (Wayne) Freeman, Stephen (Sharon) Carnathan, and David (Sue) Carnathan; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great, great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Freeman, Thomas Burkett, Holdan Wilson, Stetson Middleton, Paul Saxon, and Buster Jackson with Tyler Carnathan, Cody Carnathan, and Dawlton Nobles acting as honorary pallbearers.
