Helen Lucille Chism Terry

Helen Lucille Chism Terry – an 88 year-old native of Ohio and longtime resident of Mobile went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who reached down his hand to welcome her Home on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Mrs. Terry was a longtime member of Meadow Gardens Baptist Church and current member of College Park Baptist Church. She retired from International Paper Bagmill as an inspector after 42 years of service. Mrs. Terry was preceded in death by her son, William Dale Cheatwood. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James R. Terry; grandchildren, Terry Dale Cheatwood (Ana), Dana Vinson (Ronnie), William Dale Cheatwood, Jr. (Shawna), and Jonathan J. Cheatwood (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Amber Cheatwood, Lauren Vinson, Lindsay Vinson, Brent Vinson, Bryce Vinson, Destiny Cheatwood, Daisy Cheatwood, William Dale Cheatwood, III, Zackery Cheatwood, Zoe, Eric, Adrian, and Victor; other loving relatives and friends. The family would like to offer a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Eastern Shore Rehabilitation and Community Hospice for all of their excellent care, as well as to the hospice chaplain for singing “Amazing Grace” and “Jesus Loves Me” to send her into the loving arms of her Lord Jesus. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral home in Saraland on Monday, February 18, 2013, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the service hour.
