Mrs. Helen Ruth Williamson, age 90, resident of Eight Mile, AL, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016, at a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Ruth Sawyer, husband, Porter Williamson, and her son, Stephen Williamson. Mrs. Williamson is survived by her children, Samuel P. Williamson, Jr. of Pace, FL and David B. Williamson of Eight Mile, AL; a brother, Virgil Sawyer of Mobile; a grandchild, Stephanie Williamson (Scott Wright); and three great-grandchildren, Dylan Williamson, Ashton Williamson, and Raegan Wright. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery. Rev. Derrall Marshall will officiate.
