H.L. Nicholson

H.L. Nicholson – an 82 year-old native of Philadelphia, MS and longtime resident of Mobile passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Mr. Nicholson was a Korean War veteran of the United States Marine Corps and retired from Courtaulds as an E&I Supervisor after many years of service. A beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he was a true friend to everyone who knew him and was willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Mr. Nicholson was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Jane Nicholson, and second wife, Alice Williams Nicholson. He is survived by his sons, Michael Nicholson (Deborah) and Wendell Nicholson (Allison); grandchildren, David Nicholson (Vicky), Leah Gordon, and Stacia Nicholson; great-grandchildren, Kyler Nicholson, Samuel Gordon, and Kellan Nicholson; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the service hour.
