Faye Martin, 86, of Saraland, Alabama passed away peacefully Sunday, August 3, 2025, surrounded by those she loved. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Frank Martin, seven siblings and parents, Robert and Dollie Chappell.
Born In Houston County, Alabama, Faye was a woman of deep faith who will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and friend. She lived each day with intention, purpose and grace. Her life was a testament to her top priorities of faith, family and friends. She truly lived out her Christian values by having a servant’s heart for others and she touched the lives of many with a kind word, gesture or prayer for her fellow man. She always wanted the best for everyone.
Faye is survived by her loving children Debra Henderson (William) and David Martin (Shelley), nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5,2025 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Saraland Baptist Church, 712 Williams Ave., Saraland, Alabama. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Garden, 10000 Celeste Rd, Saraland, Alabama immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Saraland Baptist Church Music Fund in her honor.
