Idalene Rotch Willis, 89, was born October 1, 1931 in Clarke County, Alabama to the late Floy R. and Zuline Corona Hadley Rotch. She went home to be with her Heavenly Father on June 1, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama.
Idalene graduated from Murphy High School. During Idalene’s younger years she was a member of the Girl Scouts and the Eastern Stars. She worked 30+ years with U.S. Fidelity and Guaranty. She grew with the company starting out as merely a secretary and developed her skills to becoming an insurance adjuster. Idalene was a lifetime member of First Baptist Chickasaw. She was very active with in her church family. Idalene was a very charitable young lady and gave contributions to numerous charities throughout the years. She was a member of the Housing Board Authority of Chickasaw. Idalene enjoyed reading, spending quality time with her family and had a love for cooking. She always enjoyed her trips to the beach and spending time at the Fort Morgan beach house.
Idalene was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband; Albert Freeman Willis and one brother-in-law; Edward Earl Baxley.
Left to cherish Idalene’s beautiful memories will be her only daughter; Lisa Jean Willis Doyle, one sister; Dorothy Jean Rotch Baxley along with extended family members and numerous wonderful friends.
Memorials may be made in honor of Nancy Idalene Willis to a charity of donor’s choice.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 7, 2021 on the grounds of Mobile Memorial Gardens.
The family will be receiving guests for visitation on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM before being escorted to graveside.
