Irene Turk Massingill – A native of Uriah, AL and resident of Chickasaw, AL for 58 years, passed away Monday, Nov. 29, 2010 in a local hospital. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Chickasaw. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Massingill; and grandson, Robbie Sands. Survivors include her son, William (Barbara) Massingill; daughter, Carolyn Sands; son, Mark (Angela) Massingill; one brother; six sisters; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
