Irene Kubina Wagner

Irene Margaret Kubina Wagner, 97, was born on July 19, 1924, in Foley, Alabama to the late Peter and Eva Pasterna Kubina. She was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 20, 2021, at home surrounded by loving family. Irene worked as a Dental Assistant with Dr. Hagler in Saraland for many years. She was a long time member of Creola United Methodist Church in Creola, Alabama.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Clarence Wagner; and one son Terry Wagner.

Left to cherish Irene’s beautiful memories will be one son, Danny Wagner; one daughter, Shelby (Stump) Hammontree; one granddaughter, Meme (Alexx) Taylor; one grandson, Travis (Thea) Willard; four great-grandchildren: Rylee, Tripp, Reagan, Evan, along with many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Honoring Irene as pallbearers will be Danny Wagner, Stump Hammontree, Gary Kubina, Travis Willard, Alexx Taylor, and Richard Williams. Honorary pallbearer will be Tripp Paul.

The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the staff of Springhill Home Health and Hospice for all the help and care they gave Irene during her time of need.

Memorials may be made in honor of Irene Wagner to your charity of choice.

A graveside side service will be held at 10:00 AM, on Monday, November 29, 2021, on the grounds of Creola Cemetery, Creola, Alabama under the direction of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, Alabama, with Chaplain Billy Burtt officiating.
