Ivy Odell Guy

Ivy Odell “Dale” Guy – a 74 year-old resident of Wilmer, Alabama passed away at his home on Thursday, January 18, 2024. A retired mechanic, he enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. He was a gentle soul with a friendly and outgoing personality who never met a stranger. He loved animals, especially his dogs, was an avid Alabama fan, and enjoyed watching wrestling.

Mr. Guy was preceded in death by his parents, Ivy and Mamie Guy, and grandson, Destin Lane Goodhue. He is survived by his companion of 12 years, Wanda Lewis; children, Michael Guy (Sherri) and Michelle Guy; grandchildren, Hannah Sullivan(Matthew), Darian Guy, and Danielle Trosclair; brothers, R.L. Guy (Inez) and Randy Guy (Sharon); sister, Shirley Ann Bradley; great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
