Jack Trott, age 84, of Saraland, Alabama passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019. Jack was born December 14, 1934 in Maplesville, Alabama to Birdie Mae Haigler Trott and Samuel Store Trott.

Jack is survived by his wife, Catherine B. Trott; son, David (Yvonne) Trott; step-children, Barbara Cook, Tom (Marilyn) Bolen, and Christine (Larry) Grace; sister, Flora Jane Nelson; ganrandchildren, Kristina (Preston) Childress, David Trott, Jr., Leslie (Harlon) Schrimpshire, Cheryl Bertram, Stephanie (Doug) Brooks, Erica (Jonathan) Sumrall, Larry Grace, Jr., Melanie (Jody) Grenade, and Adam (Robin) Bolen; and great-grandchildren, Allison Trott, Gabriel Trott, Alex Schrimpshire, Jessica Andress, Dillon Cook, Amber Brooks, Abby Brooks, Marissa Vaughn, Brendan Bolen, and Adalynn Bolen.

Jack was preceded in death by his son, Richard Bradley Trott; father, Samuel Store Trott; mother, Birdie Mae Haigler Trott; grandson, Ricky Cook; and son-in-law, Richard Cook, Sr.

A visitation for Jack will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, Alabama 36571. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 10000 Celeste Rd, Saraland, Alabama 36571. Rev. Todd Richardson will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers are Adam Bolen, Larry Grace, Jr., Alex Schrimpshire, Thomas Callaway, David Trott, Jr., Danny Havard, Jonathan Sumrall, Joe Woodyard and Dillon Cook.

Mr. Jack will be greatly missed. He meant a lot to me & my parents( James and Gertie Butler.) After my daddy had his strokes, and I would take my parents to church, Mr. Jack would helped my daddy out of my car. He Always had a Smile on his face!!! I imagine him and my daddy are having a good ole time in heaven.!
