Jack was born on July 1, 1947 and passed away on September 5, 2017. He was a native of Alabama and a long time resident of Houston, Texas. Jack was retired from the Texas Department of Transportation. He was a life time member of the Houston Livestock and Rodeo. He enjoyed participating in competition Bar-B-Que, where he won numerous awards/ competition and was a certified judge, Jack was preceded in death by his wife Doris Riley of Houston, Texas, and his parents Herbert and Rubye Riley of Saraland, Alabama. Jack is survived by one brother Dennis and his wife Judy Riley of Saraland, Alabama. One sister Marsha Hattenstein of Chickasaw, Alabama. He is also survived by a niece, nephews, great nieces, great nephews as well as a host of extended family and friends. Visitation will be Monday starting at 10:00 am at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland. Graveside services will begin at 11:00 am at Forest lawn Memorial Gardens.
