James "J. Byrd" Byron Byrd

James Byrd - age 63, of Florence, AL passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023. A visitation will be Friday, August 18, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Florence, AL. A visitation will be at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, AL on Monday, August 21, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Byrd Cemetery in Mobile, AL. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ina Jean Terry and James Morris Byrd. Survivors include his wife, Anna Byrd, Daughters, Krista Byrd and Ashley Ward (David). Sons, Byron Byrd (Kristin), Matt Stokley (Ashley), Josh Byrd (Jessica), Jared Byrd (Courtney) and Chris Vollrath (Jordan). Siblings, Regina Beck, Tracy Hogan, Tracy Lynn Jordan and Cindy Kruszewski. Grandchildren, Trentont Drake Reed, Juliana and Brantley Byrd, Presleigh and Ethan Stokley, Jackson Byrd, Heath and Harper Ward, Bryton Vollrath and Jake Blades. James was an avid fisherman.
