James Earl McHenry

James McHenry, age 78, longtime resident of Chickasaw, Alabama passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026. He is preceded in death by three wives, Linda Mosley, Dorothy McHenry and Barbara Slaughter, parents Charles Richard McHenry (aka Pete) and Mary Genevieve Nicols McHenry, siblings Lawrence Ivo McHenry (aka Pete), Letha Diane McHenry (aka Pat), Charles Richard McHenry (aka Ricky) and Sylvia Diana McHenry.

He is survived by his children, Jimmy (Glenda) McHenry, Judy (James) Jenkins, brothers Donnie (Kathleen) McHenry and Jackie (Regina) McHenry. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tracey Jenkins, Thomas Jenkins, Richard Jenkins, Arthur Jenkins, Haley Brook, Dalton Brook and Jimmy McHenry, Jr. Great-grandchildren, Kinsley Walston, Alana-Belle Star Walston, Justin Randall Walston, Mallory Jenkins and Lynne Grace Jenkins also survive him.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland on Friday, July 3, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Garry Harred officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saraland, AL immediately following service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ralph McHenry, David McHenry, Donnie McHenry, Jack McHenry, Josh Martin, Bill Neal, Arthur Jenkins and Richard Jenkins.
