He was a longtime member of the Central Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Skinner,his son James Larry Skinner. He will be greatly missed by his son, Wayne (Charlotte) Skinner, daughter-in-law, Janet Skinner, grandchildren; James (Jimbo) Skinner and Kimberly (Christopher) Dial. He was blessed with two great-grandchildren; Brody Skinner and Luke Dial. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 15, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland.
Family will receive friends on Monday, January 16, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Minister J. T. Harrison, officiating. The following family members/friends will serve as pallbearers; James (Jimbo) Skinner, Christopher Dial, and members of the Central Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens, Three Knotch Rd., Mobile, AL.
