Janet English - a native of Tylertown, MS and longtime resident of Semmes, AL died Friday, January 25, 2013 at home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Oneida Alexander; and two brothers, Eugene and Jerry Alexander. She is survived by her husband, David English; two children, K. Scott (Lisa) Andrews and Terri A. (Carl) Jennings; step-son, Daniel S. (Jennifer) English; one sister, Annie Merle (Ricky) Brumfield; eight grandchildren, Emily and Ethan Jennings, Kenny, Abby and Bradley Andrews, Baylee, Seth and Logan English; and beloved sister-in-law, Jackie Alexander; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be Monday, January 28, 2013, at 3 p.m. from Snow Road Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery West. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Snow Road Missionary Baptist Church Benevolent Fund, 809 Snow Rd. N., Mobile, AL 36608.
