Jason LaMont Matthews – a longtime resident of Eight Mile, AL died Sunday, May 26, 2013, in a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Frances Matthews; and brother, Jeffery Dixon. He is survived by his mother, Linda Kaye Matthews. He was raised by Ronald and Gail Dixon. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 30, 2013, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Scotty Douglas, Marty McLaughin, Terry Huggins, Jason Cobb, Michael Robinson, and Kyle Williams.
