Jayne Ellyn Cross

John Ch 14:1-2

1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s

house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to

prepare a place for you?“

Jayne was born in Montgomery AL, November 6th 1949. She graduated from Satsuma High

School Class of 1968. She married Fred Cross III on March 21st 1969 where they resided in

Kushla AL since 1973. She retired from Scott/Kimberly Clark after 32 years. Some of her

favorite things included the beach, reading, chocolate, scrabble, sunsets, Motown, the Twist,

amusement parks, and her grandchildren.

Jayne is preceded in death by her parents Adrah Gordan and Margie Marie Sanders, her twin

brother Rusty (Carol) Sanders, her sister Margie (Jim) Parnell.

Jayne is survived by her husband Fred Cross III, her children Angie Baker and Fred Cross IV, her

siblings Merlene (Jerry) Dubose, Ben Sanders and Missy (Ken) Lott, her granchildren Megan

(Brandon) Summerlin, Briana (Ted) Weaver, Taylor Cross, Kayleigh Gates, Kinley Gates and

Baleigh Cross, Her great grandchildren Isaac Summerlin, Jaxon Summerlin, Kagan Weaver,

Maverick Summerlin and Eden Weaver, and many nieces and nephews.
