Jeremy Dane Moore, known lovingly to family and friends as "Germ" and "Germany," passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 46, following a courageous battle with cancer. A lifelong resident of Saraland, Alabama, he was born in nearby Mobile on December 19, 1979. Jeremy graduated from Mobile Baptist High School in 1998 and began his working life alongside his father at S/M Warehouse, where he spent nearly a decade. All the while, he was teaching himself the ins and outs of computer systems and information technology, a skill that would shape the rest of his career. He became the family's go-to expert for viruses, lost files, and upgrades, always happy to lend a hand. He went on to share that expertise professionally at Odyssey Networking, Callis Communications, and Arey Jones, before spending the last fifteen years with AM/NS Calvert. On October 20, 2001, Jeremy married the love of his life, Alaina Malinoski Moore. Together they built a home filled with laughter, music, and devotion. Jeremy's greatest passion was simply being a loving husband and a good father to his two boys. Those who knew Jeremy will remember his wonderful sense of humor. He was the family comedian, the one who could lighten any room. He was selfless, kind, and caring, hard-working to the core, and yes, stubborn when he set his mind to something. That same determination carried him through his illness, which he faced with remarkable perseverance and grace. He loved music of all kinds and found great joy in playing his guitar. Jeremy is survived by his wife, Alaina; his sons, Dylan and Jakob; his brother, Justin Moore; his father, Jimmy Dwight Moore; and his step-mother, Jackie Moore. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gale Moore. A visitation will be held on October 31, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Fountain of Life Church, 1277 Jubilee Drive in Saraland, followed by a memorial service from 10:30 a.m. to noon. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the MD Anderson Cancer Center or any institution fighting cancer in all its forms. May Jeremy rest in peace, his humor and love forever remembered by all who were blessed to know him.
