Jerry is survived by his wife of 49 years, Louise D. Cartier; son, Jerome (Ginnie) Cartier, Jr.; son, Rodney Cartier; daughter, Tammy (Steve) Silcox; son, Terry Ryals; son, Jesse Ryals; daughter-in-law, Darlene Ryals; 20 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Cartier and Marie Cartier; son, Tony Ryals; daughters-in-law, Peanut Cartier and Karen Ryals; and two sisters.
A visitation for Jerry will be held Monday, October 2, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, Alabama 36571. A graveside service will occur Monday, October 2, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 10000 Celeste Rd, Saraland, Alabama 36571. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
