He is preceded in death by his mother, Doris Threadgill, his wife, Mary Jackson, and his son Justin Jackson (Melissa). He is survived by his grandson Jason Jackson (Amanda), granddaughter Kayly Jackson.
He was born on September 14, 1943. He served proudly in the United States Navy and retired from the City of Mobile as a Master Mechanic.
JJ loved watching TV with his grandson and purchasing lottery tickets whenever he could. He also loved spending time with his dog, Rabbit who was always at his side.
