Jimmie Ophelia Pinkard, age 83, of Whistler, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Lawrence; a granddaughter; April (Ryan) Walker; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas Walker and Hailey Walker; a sister, Linda (Jim) Reed; nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Jimmie was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Joel Pinkard. Visitation will be Saturday, December 3, 2016, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral home, Saraland. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from the Oak Grove Chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery. Rev. Ellen Lesley will officiate.
