Mrs. Joy Bell Barber Green, age 84, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 24, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, LaWayne Green. Mrs. Green was a longtime member of Bayou Sara Baptist Church. She loved spending time in her garden, painting and sewing. Mrs. Green is survived by her sons, James Green (Judy) and Michael Green. She is also survived by her siblings, Roland Barber (Eloise), Ervin Barber (Joyce), Earline Vardaman (Clifford), Melvin Barber (Sue), Betty Huckeba, granddaughter, Lisa Lane (Travis) and two great-grandchildren, Emily Scarbrough, Kaden Lane and many other family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Bayou Sara Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow immediately after visitation. Interment will be in St. Clair Memorial Gardens, Pell City, AL on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radney fh-saraland.com.
