Joyce Bernice Moseley Davis

Joyce Bernice Moseley Davis - passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012. She was born March 13, 1926, in McKenzie, Alabama, and was a long-time resident of Chickasaw, Alabama. She graduated from Luverne High School in Luverne, Alabama, in 1944. Bernice was preceded in death by her mother and father, Grady and Essie Moseley, and a brother, Kendrick Moseley. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, E. C. “Sonny” Davis, Jr.; one daughter, Joyce Ann Davis Pate (Bryan) of Chickasaw; granddaughter, Stephanie Ann Pate Prater (Robert) of Mobile; nieces and nephews; and her two beloved cats, Little Willie and Princess. Graveside services will be held in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. procession to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 300 Grant St., Chickasaw, AL 36611.
