Juanita Byrd George

Juanita Byrd George – age 76, a native of Mobile, AL and longtime resident of Georgetown died Sunday, April 14, 2013 in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell L. George; grandson, Little Harold “BoBo” George; two sisters, Jeanette Stagner and Vivian Turner; and three brothers, James Byrd, Woody Byrd and Buck Byrd. She is survived by three children, Harold George (B.J.), Terry George and Christy Williams (Chris McIlwain); three sisters, MaeBelle Norwood, Doris Kearley and Frances Byrd; three grandchildren, Bridgette, April and Branson; five great-grandchildren, Kody, Ben, Kyler, Isaac and Maya; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Byrd Memorial Cemetery in Georgetown.
