Karen attended Satsuma High School, after graduating she married Frederick the love of her life. Karen enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents, William and Laura Nelson. She is survived by her husband, Frederick of 56 years of marriage, her sons; Thomas (Ramona)Savell and Joshua Savell, her brothers, Randall(Janie)Nelson and Brian(Tina)Nelson, her grandsons Michael, Thomas and Konner Savell and her aunts, nieces, cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, Alabama on March 9, 2026 at 3pm to 4pm. The burial will take place March 10, 2026 at 10am at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, Alabama.
