Karen Foster Wells, born July 16, 1954, a lifelong resident of Mobile County (Chickasaw and Saraland), Alabama, went to be with the Lord, peacefully and surrounded by family, on July 21, 2026, in Mobile, Alabama.
Karen worked as the Administrative Assistant Rubber and Plastic Applicators in Saraland, Alabama for over 30 years and was currently working for the Mobile County License Commission Office.
She was a longtime active member of Chickasaw Methodist Church. She loved her family and friends, as well as her sweet fur babies.
Karen was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William (Bill) Edward Wells); her father, Chester Massey Foster; her mother, Mildred Sanders Foster; father-in-law, Clarence Edward Wells Jr.; brother-in-law, Scott Fielding Wells; and nephew, Clarence Fielding Wells.
Karen is survived by two children, Heather Wells Bell (Ray), Jeremy Edward Wells; two grandsons, Jacob Massey Bell and Payton Foster Bell; and one brother Gary Chester Foster (Melissa); and niece, Lindsey Foster Smith. She is also survived by her Mother-in-law, Marion Bridges Wells, sister-in-law Holly Wells Miller (Mark), two nieces Kailin Rotch, Ashley Tollett (Wayne) and several cousins and numerous friends.
Pallbearers will be Larry Trehern, Doc Green, Brian McGrew, Jim Trout, Randy Davis, and Joe Sanders.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 am on Monday 7/27/2026, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 pm, both being held at Chickasaw Methodist Church, 108 Lee St, Chickasaw, Alabama 36611, with Reverend Dave Rhodes officiating. Graveside Services will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saraland, Alabama.
