Leah was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Tony Lane, Sr. and Sammie Lane, and maternal grandfather, George Harville.
Leah was outgoing and loved life to the fullest. She enjoyed Gods beauty of the country and outdoors. She loved sitting by the creek bank with her toes in the water. She loved her some old country music. Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, and Loretta Lynn, not to mention Southern Gospel.
Leah was so passionate about her faith: She also wanted to make sure that the Lord knew that she loved Him and kept her children close to Him. Her Faith never wavered. Leah would write the Lord in prayer for all of her family members, all of her friends, and the man at Dollar Store. Leah had an unconditional love for everyone, and always put the interest of those in need ahead of hers.
Leah was a proud and loving mother. Leah was proud to be the mother of a United States Marine and was proud to have raised and taught her children that the House of God is where they should be. Leah would love and care for any children as her own, and there were many.
As an employee of Waffle house for over 25 years, Leah had gained another family. Leah shared her Southern Hospitality with her co-workers and her customers. Leah knew no strangers.
Leah never passed the opportunity to collect John Deere merchandise, play the Mandolin, chew ice from a waffle house cup, or craft some beautiful southern trinkets. She could find value in anyone’s trash and turn it into a treasure.
Leah was loved by her family and friends. The light she cast in our lives will forever be shining. The love in our hearts for her will never dissipate. We look forward to the day we join her in glory.
She will be deeply missed by all.
