Lenora Alexander Stringfellow, age 80, of Eight Mile, Alabama passed away on Friday March 15, 2019. Lenora was born January 24, 1939 in Mobile, Alabama to Kathleen Alexander and Eugene Alexander. She is retired from Mobile Infirmary Medical Center and University of Mobile after many years of service. Lenora had many passions in life including painting, gardening, family, and carpentry. She had a great love for animals.
Lenora is survived by her four daughters, Danna (Phillip) Robinson, Helen Helveston, Cynthia (Enas) Reidy, and Lisa Greeley; brothers, Roger (Millie) Alexander, James (Tina) Alexander, and Ben (Jackie) Alexander; sisters, Nita (Harold) Maloy, Nancy (Tommy) Hewett, and Ellen Walker; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her beloved pets, Ten-Ten, four cats, and three birds.
Lenora was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stringfellow; father, Eugene Alexander; and mother, Kathleen Alexander.
A visitation for Lenora will be held Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, Alabama 36571. A celebration of life will occur Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. An interment will occur at Stringfellow Cemetery, Wilmer, Alabama 36587.
Serving as pallbearers are Enas Reidy, Eric Reidy, Anthony Helveston, Wayne Helveston, Ryan Seeley, Austin Boyd, David Helveston and Phillip Robinson.
