Leslie Gustive Howard

Leslie Gustive Howard – a 90 year-old lifelong resident of Mobile passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. He retired from All Brands Vending after 40 years of dedicated service. He was a dedicated father for 68 years, an avid fisherman, and will be long remembered for his wonderful sense of humor.

Mr. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Sidney and Maida Howard; wife, Lillie Mae Howard; son, Randy Howard; brother, Albert Howard; and four grandchildren. He is survived by 11 children: Clarence Howard (Ann), Wayne Howard (Betty), Danny Howard, Sr. (Tammy), David Howard, Jeff Howard, Linda May, Sharon Wiggins (Gary), Debra Holifield, Sandra Davis, Beverly Sharp, and Karen Robinson (Michael); brother, Kenny Howard (Patricia); 34 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; 10 great, great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Tawana Saranthus (adopted daughter), for all of her care and support.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Friday, May 9, 2014, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the service hour.
