
Leslie Westbrook, nee Leslie Denise Nader, departed this world on Friday, June 27, 2014, at home. She is the daughter of Joseph Nader III and Sharon Harrell Nader, Marie (Ree Ree) Barth Taylor, Donnie and Rhonda Pritchett Rabon. Born on Febuary 18, 1974, she was 40 years old.
She left behind two beautiful children, James Alexander Johnston and Lauren Rae McDaniel, two beautiful stepchildren, Hunt Westbrook, and Kelsey Westbrook (Saraland) and her loving husband, Bobby Lamar Westbrook, nephew, Hunter Lee Nader, niece, Zoe Elizabeth Nader, and nephew Blake Andrew Nader, mother-in-law, Barbara Thomas siblings Joseph Nader III, Amber McIntyre, and Matthew McIntyre, her parents, Joseph Nader III, Sharon Harrell Nader, and Rhonda Pritchett Rabon. She worked as a retail manager for over 25 years with organizations such as Marshalls, Old Navy, Goody’s, TJ Maxx, Stein Mart, and just recently at Toys R Us as assistant store manager and was looking forward to the job being “the greatest challenge of her work career.” She was excited to be in the environment where she would be giving children joy. She also knew it would be demanding. She considered her most important job to be a mother to her children. Adventurous and looking forward, she loved to travel, journeying to Ireland, New York, Miami, the Bahamas, and everywhere that a dance mom could take their child. Her interests included being a major fan of Bret Michaels, Nikki Sixx, and her ultimate artists, Pink and Prince. She came from a large family, including, her brothers-in-law, Mark Westbrook and Steve Westbrook, many aunts and uncles, Philip Michael Nader (Tuscaloosa), George Anthony (Tony) Nader (Calvert), Walter Edward Nader (Saraland), William Victor Nader (Citronelle), Tina Nader Carpenter, Minnie Barnett, Wanda Pezent, Billie Sue Windham, and Renee Williams, Randy Harrell, Diane Howell, Callie Daniels, Larry Harrell, Terry Harrell, and Sandi, Deuell Stapleton. She was Catholic but considered her first duty to love others. She was protector of the downtrodden and believed in giving a person a second chance. She will rest in peace next to her sister, Stephanie Leigh Nader, her co-hort, partner, and inspiration in life. Massof Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, at 10:00 a.m., St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Mt. Vernon, Alabama.
