Lois Reaves Ketchum

Mrs. Lois Ketchum, native of Ripley, MS and longtime resident of Saraland, AL, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Ketchum and great-grandchildren, Arrow Ketchum and Brookley Finch. Mrs. Ketchum is survived by her sons, Johnnie Glenn (Deborah), Vincent Ray (Lisa), and James Stanley (Lois). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. Lois worked for Saraland Drug for 22 years. She was a faithful member of Shelton Beach Road Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for more than fifty years. Lois loved her Lord, her family, her church family and everyone loved her as well. The family would like to thank Theresa, Rolonda, Cindy and others from Springhill Hospice for their care of their mother for the last seven months. Visitation will be held at Shelton Beach Road Baptist Church on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Church on Saturday, February 23, 2019 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy., Mobile, AL.
