Lorene Wade Steadham, 84, was born February 21, 1937 in Fulton, Alabama to the late John Robert Wade, Jr. and Vera Maureen Robinson McMichael. She was called to her Heavenly home on July 31, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama. Lorene sewed for the public for thirty plus years. She was a long time member of Bayou Sara Baptist Church. Lorene was involved with the church, she handled the Sunday school records and worked in the Food Bank. Lorene loved flowers and spoiling her grandchildren.
Lorene was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband; John DeVaughn Steadham, two sons: Michael Anthony “Tony” Steadham, Thomas Martin “Marty” Steadham and one sister; Lois Wade Newton.
Left to cherish Lorene’s beautiful memories will be her children: Cheryl Lynn Steadham, Robby Steadham and wife Dawn, Laurie Davis and husband Roger, Molly Steadham Wright and husband Bryan, Wade Steadham, one sister-in-law; Elaine Simpson, eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, along with extended family members and many wonderful friends.
Memorials may be made in honor of Lorene Wade Steadham to the Food Bank at Bayou Sara Baptist Church, 12 Bayou Sara Avenue, Saraland, Alabama 36571.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 5, 2021 on the grounds of Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, 7759 Old Hwy 5 S, Thomasville, Alabama, 36784 with Bro. Lonnie Lundy officiating under the direction of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, Alabama.
The family will be receiving guests for visitation on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, Alabama 36571.
