Lucy Simmons Goodloe – a 64 year-old native of Mobile and resident of Eight Mile passed away, Friday, August 05, 2011. She was a member of Kushla-Bethany Baptist Church who enjoyed knitting. Mrs. Goodloe was preceded in death by her son, Carl Goodloe, Jr., and brother, Shelton Simmons. She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Carl Goodloe; daughter, Myra Neal (Glen); grandchildren, Tyler Neal and Zachary Neal; sisters, Freida Cross, Leona Robinson (Robert), and Johnnie Mullis (Jack); other relative and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Monday, August 8, 2011, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 7, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Kushla Assembly of God Cemetery.
