Jean was born in Mobile AL and lived her early childhood in Coffeeville, Alabama, until her family relocated to Toulminville, where she graduated from Murphy high school in 1966. She has been a resident of Satsuma for 46 plus years.
Jean dedicated her life to caring for her family and loved ones, working in the legal field and using her wealth of knowledge to help others. She spent over 20 years as a legal secretary for the same company (which changed names multiple times), of which the last 3 years were Bill McCranie and associates!
Jean loved her daughters and grandchildren, and all of her extended family and friends. She had a passion for learning new things, her faithfulness in God, reading, history and geography. She was selfless honest and caring.
Her laughter was precious and humble. She enjoyed allowing her daughters, grandchildren, and son in laws to have a little fun at her expense, mostly about her adorable southern accent and her love of re-watching Alabama football games over and over, even knowing the outcome was the same. She would say “It’s still fun watching them win”
The legacy that Jean will leave will have a positive impact, because anyone that had the pleasure to know and be loved by her will want to model her kindness, generosity, compassion and Godliness.
