Margaret Edna Maddox, 95, of Semmes entered into rest Thursday, October 29, 2015 at a local nursing home. Funeral services will be Monday, November 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Maddox was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Busby and Margaret Tee Busby, her husband, M.J. “Sleepy” Maddox, three sons, Bernard Maddox, Lamar Maddox, and Robert Maddox, and one daughter, Barbara Clark.
She is survived by four sons, Oscar Wayne (Carolyn) Maddox of Millport, AL, George B. (Teresa) Maddox of Semmes, Carl S. (Judy) Maddox of Semmes, and Samuel D. (Darlene) Maddox of Chickasaw, two daughters, Lora Armstrong of Semmes and Rebecca Forman of Orange Beach, a son-in-law, Chester Clark, two sisters-in-law, Jean Busby of Eight Mile and Eunice Thomley of Chickasaw, sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
