Martha King Hill, age 80, native of Opp, AL and longtime resident of Satsuma, AL, passed away at her home on Friday, February 22, 2019. Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Fonce and Farrell King and sister, Josephine King. She was a member of the first graduating class of Satsuma High School servicing as the first Salutatoriam. She retired from the Federal Civil Service after over 25 years of service and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Satsuma. Left to cherish Martha's memory are Patricia Odom (Tommy), Rose Melton (Sonny), Kristen Robinson (Joshua), Tim Warren and special friends Peggy and Larry Pitts. She will also be remembered by numerous other cousins, family members and friends. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church Satsuma on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until funeral service time of 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Surviving as pallbearers will be: Carlton Melton, Christopher Odom, Joshua Robinson, Richard Stapleton and Adam Green. Honorary pallbearers are: Tommy Odom, Sonny Melton, Tim Warren, Larry Pitts and Pete Prescott.
