Mary Autie Lolley Dowd, age 88, a native of Chickasaw for the 60 years and a current resident of Saraland, died on Thursday, August 8, 2013. She was a charter member of The Church of God of Prophecy in Chickasaw. She was preceded in death by her husband; Oren H. Dowd, Sr; parents, Monroe and Linnie Bell Lolley; four brothers, Hoyt, Luke, Floyd, Wiley Lolley and grandson, Clay Bateman. She is survived by her children, Jean Romease Bateman, Jane (Richard) Nelson, Mary (Craig) Robb, Orlinda (Gary) McKinley, Brenda Dowd-Blaylock, Oren (Suzette) Dowd, Jr.; sister, Iolun Lovelace; three brothers, Arvis, Homer and Donnie Lolley; seventeen grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 10:00 AM from The Church of God of Prophecy, 208 4th Avenue, Chickasaw, AL 36611. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
