Mary Virginia Hunt Hendrickson

Mary Virginia Hunt Hendrickson – an 84 year-old native of Laurel, MS and a resident of Chickasaw passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011. She retired from the Legal Services of Alabama after 15 years of service and was a longtime active member of Oakmont Christian Church. Mrs. Hendrickson was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Carl Clifford Hendrickson; daughter, Linda Louise Hendrickson; and son-in-law, Clarence Hollinghead. She is survived by two daughters, Diane Hollinghead and Wanda Andrews (John); brother, Emory Hunt (Elise); grandchildren: Tyler Andrews, Rachel Andrews, Chris Radcliff (Lee), Brian Hollinghead (Stephanie), Timothy Hollinghead (Cheryl), and Teresa McCraney; great-grandchildren: Brittany Radcliff, Bailey Radcliff, and Garrett Hollinghead; other relatives and friends. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff of Covenant Hospice for their exceptional care and service and to their many friends for all of their loving care and support. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, July 23, 2011, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oakmont Christian Church, Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.) or to your charity of choice.
