Mary Leona Richardson Johnson

Mary Leona Richardson Johnson – a 69 year-old native of Tibbie, Alabama and longtime resident of Chickasaw, Alabama passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. She never met a stranger. Ms. Johnson loved spending time with her grandchildren, animals, and going out to eat with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lottie Leona Neese and Homer Kenneth Richardson; brothers, Homer K. Richardson, Jr., James “J.T.” Richardson, and Robert Richardson; and grandson, Mason Gabriel Vines. Ms. Johnson is survived by her daughters, Ellizabeth Morales (Marciano “Chino”) and Jennifer Baugh; grandchildren, Marcus Brown, Alexis Brown, Aubree Brown, Autumn Vines, and Micah Vines; sisters, Dorthy Sullivan, Bobbie Harris (Michael), and Lana Peek (Ernest Hamilton); special friends,, Sherri Owens, Brenda Weeks, and Pamela Leavins; many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services and interment will be held in Bethel Cemetery in the Hawthorn Community near Tibbie, Alabama on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 12 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-saraland.com.
