Mary Munday Buck

It is with the deepest sadness that the family of Mary Munday Buck announce her passing on Thursday, September 7, 2023 after a brief illness. At her bedside was her beloved husband, Rocky, family, and friends.

Born December 26, 1959, to parents Bill and Iris Munday, she joined a waiting family of seven siblings in Axis, Alabama.

Mary was educated at Satsuma High School. Through the years she developed an interest in the mortgage and real estate business. As her expertise grew, she opened her own company, Merchants National Mortgage in Saraland, Alabama. As her business expanded, she gained a reputation for customer care and her civic and business integrity.

Married to Ronald Buck for forty-one years, the joy of their life together was opening their home through the years to family and friends, celebrating and sharing good times, good food, and happy milestone memories.

She leaves behind her dear husband Rocky, her precious puppy Beau; brother and sister-in-law, James and Kathy Munday, brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Terri Munday, brother, Gary Munday (Precedes her in death).

Sisters, Marion Munday Mullins, Sharon Munday, sister and brother-in-law, Lesa and Wayne Chestang, sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Jack Clark; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home – Saraland on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating Minister will be Rev. Dennis Dunn. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery West on Snow Road, Mobile, Alabama.
