Mary Patricia Platt – A native of Mobile, AL and longtime resident of Satsuma passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 in a local health care facility. She worked as an LPN at HC Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman, MS and later worked as a private duty nurse in Mobile. Ms. Platt was a known cashier with Shell Oil Company in Saraland. She enjoyed karoke and playing the organ and piano for several churches throughout the area. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Platt; and brother, Neal Platt. Survivors include her daughter, Robin (Scott) Williams, Axis, AL; father, Nelson (Peggy) Platt, Mobile, AL; other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. prior to services.
