Merle "Billie" Kornman Summersell

Merle “Billie” Kornman Summersell, 81, went to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 14th, 2026 in the Oak Grove community of Eight Mile, Alabama.

Billie is preceded in death by her parents, H.G. “Buddy” and Merle (Bullard) Kornman; her husband, Aubrey F. Summersell; and her older sister, Lettie Ann (Kornman) Smith.

Billie is survived by two sons: Kevin Summersell and Steven Summersell; two grandsons: Alex and Nicky Summersell; one sister and one brother-in-law: Kathy (Kornman) and Randy Gartman; and other family and friends.

A graveside service will take place at Smithtown Family Cemetery on Monday, July 20th at 10AM, with Bro. Tim Steiner officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
