Neal Warren Gafford

Mr. Neal Warren Gafford, age 57, native of Cantonment, FL and longtime resident of Citronelle, AL, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Gafford. Mr. Gafford was the Owner/Operator of Tri-State Machine Works, Inc. for the past ten years. He had worked as a machinist for over thirty-five years in the local area. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved to hunt and fish. He also had a passion for Nascar and Alabama football “ROLL TIDE ROLL” and cooking for his family. He will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father and grandfather. His happiest times were spent with his grandchildren and family. Mr. Gafford is survived by his wife, Cherry Desporte Gafford, mother, Clarine Gafford, children, David Neal Gafford (Amanda), Chad Matthew Gafford , step-daughters, Shannon Johnson (Joshua) and Stephanie Douglas. He is also survived by his siblings, Elwin Gafford (Charlotte), Michael Gafford (Ann), Judy Gafford Fehl and his grandchildren, Mackenzie DuVal, Zachary Miller, Michael Paul Gafford and Aaden Matthew Gafford. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Celeste Road, Saraland, AL.
