Mrs. Nora L. Maddox – age 87, a resident of Creola, heard the calling of our Lord, and she answered him willing. She gave her heart and soul on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. (Matthew 22:37). Mrs. Louise Maddox was preceded in death by her husband, Paul O. Maddox. She is survived by four daughters, Barbara (Jerry) Shields of Saraland, AL, Pauline (J.C.) Calloway of Satsuma, AL, Gloria (Jack) Arant of Quitman, MS and Wanda (Moses) Wilkinson of Linden, AL; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; devoted friends, Loraine and Buddy Bryan, Mary and Joe Green and Mrs. Anthony, all of Creola, AL. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Creola Cemetery.
